Drama, Theatre & Creative Adventures
There’s more than one way to find your stage.
At Taking-The-Space CIC, we believe drama should be creative, collaborative and above all, fun.
From playful first steps into drama to creating original high quality plays, exploring Shakespeare or working one-to-one with an experienced theatre practitioner, our sessions offer young people different ways to discover their voice, build confidence and create something extraordinary.
Actors Clubs & Play Making
Mini Actors Club, ages 6–10
Junior Actors Club, ages 10–13
Young Actors Club, ages 14–20+
Our weekly Actors Clubs combine professional acting techniques with improvisation and imaginative play, And then, through our unique Play Making Course, the young people contribute ideas, create characters and devise stories which are shaped into exciting, bespoke original performances.

Shakespeare
Explore. Play. Perform.
We believe Shakespeare belongs to everyone. Our Shakespeare projects give young people the opportunity to discover the words, characters and stories of Shakespeare and, from time to time, perform alongside professional and community performers.
